Welcome to Lamoille Lamentations. LL is an online literary magazine devoted to providing a home for great writing by emerging authors. Each issue features short fiction, flash, and a bit of poetry now and again. Once in a while a portfolio of photographs lands in our laps that is just too good to pass by. What you won't find in LL is acerbic or divisive opinion pieces, graphic violence or sex (although a bit of each is part of our everyday life) or excessive foul language (which is not to say that an occasional expletive doesn't occur when it fits the story). LL is intended to appeal to as many audiences as possible.

If anyone ever sends us a book review, and it isn't totally repulsive, like the ones published by a certain newspaper in New York City, we'll publish those, too. LL Editors will also be willing to review books by first-time authors. See the Contacts Page for information on getting your book reviewed.

Submissions from authors from around the world are welcome; but only those written in English will be published. See our Submissions Guidelines for specific details.

Comments from readers are welcome, and as they roll in will become a feature of each magazine. So please send your comments or suggestions to The Editor. Please indicate if we have permission to feature your comments in a future issue.
